How to Play Scorpion Solitaire 2 Suits
Objective
As in the original, the target is to assemble four full descending suit sequences from King to Ace. When a complete run is made, it automatically moves to the foundation. Winning requires completing all four sequences.
Setup
- Deck: 52 cards using only two suits (e.g., hearts and spades).
- Tableau: 7 columns with 7 cards each.
- Columns 1–4: bottom three cards are face-down, the rest face-up.
- Columns 5–7: all seven cards dealt face-up.
- Reserve: 3 leftover cards are set aside face-down. When dealt, one card is added face-up to each of the first three tableau piles. This can only be done once per game.
- Foundation: Completed K→A runs in a suit are automatically moved here. The game ends in victory when all four suit sequences are completed.
Rules
- Building: Sequences must be built downward by suit (for example, place 7♥ on 8♥).
- Moving groups: Any face-up card can be lifted along with the cards stacked above it, provided the move continues a valid same-suit descent.
- Flipping: Reveal face-down cards immediately when uncovered.
- Empty columns: Only a King (or a stack with a King at its top) can be placed into an empty space.
- Reserve deal: The three stock cards are dealt once, one onto each of the first three piles.
- Completed runs: Full King-to-Ace sequences are sent automatically to the foundation.
