Tripeaks Solitaire Games
The Tripeaks games are quick and easy to learn. The cards are laid out in a shape, such as three peaks, and you clear them by playing a card that is one higher or one lower than the top card of the waste pile, in long chains like 5, 6, 7, 6. Suits and colours do not matter, and here a King and an Ace connect, so a chain can go Queen, King, Ace, 2. When no card fits, you turn a new card from the stock.
How the Tripeaks games differ
All ten games share these rules. What changes is the shape of the layout, how many cards start hidden and how big the stock is, and that is what makes one game easy and another hard. Five Bridges Solitaire, Diamond Solitaire and Hole In One Solitaire show most of their cards and are easy to win. Weave Solitaire, Suspension Solitaire and Bipeaks Solitaire hide many more and are much harder.
Which one to start with
Start with the classic Tripeaks Solitaire: a game takes about a minute. If you want an easy win, try Five Bridges Solitaire. If you want a challenge, try Weave Solitaire, where the stock has only 13 cards.
